How can someone get started selling virtual servers? How do you find the servers? How do find customers?
well first you need to have a dedicated internet for these servers
I had to buy new internet for them 50 upload and 150 download speeds

Then I had to find customers, which were chinese people who hacked on online games. Here is where the problem starts, these customers can fukk ur computer up/internet (Which is why i said get seperate internet).

Luckily I was well known on this specific site so getting customers was easy.

I honestly wouldn't recommend this hustle to anyone as there are so many providers already, i just lucked out by being wel known and trusted.

literally the only reason im using it is cause i knew the customer before hand and could provide what he needed :dead:

see the problem is when he goes away, i dont have any other customer AND getting another one would be insanely hard (Since there are already well known providers out there).

I paid cash for it as cash speaks the loudest and at that time my credit was ruined BUT I had quite a bit of cash from a settlement for wrongful termination that really was the catalyst for working for myself.

When people see cash? All hesitation goes out of the window as most people especially cac's finance a lot of business purchases...but a nikka with cash speaks the loudest. When I went to buy that yoga studio the owner was a white man who was frustrated because he didn't want to finance the selling of it...but when I showed up with 45K in cash.

You would have sworn I was his fukking best friend.

So I took the earnings from that work payout and also a Mission Tortilla route that I bought which was my very first business to make the purchase. Once my studio was popping I took a years worth of my earnings to buy my 2nd business which is a Vape shop.

Why Vape? Cacs LOVE it. THEY LOVE TO SMOKE. So I bought that business from a woman who wanted to sell it and raise her family...she asked to stay on board and just work the shop. I was cool with it and also retained two of her part time employees. If you are curious I RARELY ever see any black, Latino or Asian Vapers.

I don't go into the shop or the studio as one thing I learned...White People HATE to give a black man their money but they will GLADLY take yours...so I put White Faces in place of mine running my businesses.

I have a white manager for my yoga studio and she collects my rent from the trainers, keeps me abreast me of any problems, and keeps things running.

Use them as they would gladly use you but every time I go somewhere and buy nice things...these white folks always ask questions then we get this conversation.

Q - Hey what do you do for a living?

A - I own a business.

Q - Oh really? What kind?

A - I ain't tellin

Q - Oh why not I want to own a business too.

A - Well go online and research it.

End of Conversation.

so step 1: get a settlement

What gave you the idea to buy a yoga studio? Do you tell the white pple who work for you not to tell people that it is a black owned business? How old were you when you started and how long did it take? How much did you get in your settlement?

so step 1: get a settlement

:skip:
Or save up enough money. That may take years though.

How old was I when I started this? 36 and I am 39 now.

How much did I get out of my work settlement? 55K with my lawyer fees paid for. My first business was a Mission Tortilla chip route that I purchased and also the seller tossed in a box truck as well. I worked the fukk out of that to get an idea of what I was doing....did real well. Then I hired a semi old white dude to do the shyt for me and it worked fine. I met him from running my route as he was curious how to get put on....so I asked him if he wanted to work for me...he was WITH IT. One thing old Cac's do really appreciate is when they see someone out there GETTING the shyt done and this Cac was glad I gave him a job when most other Cac's weren't fukking with him like that....

We both still chop it up to this day as he actually does his own business now with his son. He also put me up on Game on how these Cac's get down even more so...it's always good to have a Cac who can put you up on Cac behavior. :jawalrus:

So after working that shyt for a bit I eventually sold it for 60k as I built up more accounts. Some people did turn me away when they saw that I was black and yep....it sucks but what could I have done? :yeshrug:

So that is where I came up with the idea of putting in a "white face". 2 of the stores that didn't want to fukk with me actually gave the white guy I hired to do their business again because they thought he was the new owner. :ohhh:

Yeah...it's like that man. Cac logic. :francis:

I spoke with a Lawyer about having a NDA and this is a very very complicated process but eventually she drafted something that protects divulging any business information as to who I am, what I sell, product ideas and etc.. I decided not do create a NDA as a company but rather as a individual as I ONLY sign with individuals as you cannot enforce it if one of the people quit or is shytcanned by the company and goes off and uses your information. This took a minute to figure out but we got something in writing. I haven't had anyone breach a NDA so...knock on wood. :whoo:

This doesn't mean there isn't some psychology involved in this....mind you I am supporting two people pretty much and as long as the money comes in and problems are solved everything is good.

Cac's love money and most won't fukk up the flow or ruin it in any fashion. I had to fire one person at my Vape store for missing a week of work and having nothing to say for it.

The studio was 45K. I saw it online and was really curious as to why not just use it as a place for trainers... a very close friend of mine who lives in Sac is a personal trainer and HIS son owns a gym. They make GOOD money and they are black as well I talked to him about it just as a whim and he gave me the idea to buy it and simply rent it out with time slots to trainers. So to get a better idea of this I flew him and his son up to evaluate the studio and share my idea.

Having other black folk as business owners to give you insight is priceless as you are all trading ideas and intel on what is popping. :smugbiden:

The vape shop was my idea. Cac hipsters LOVE to smoke and Vaping is a big deal for smokers up here so I found a shop that had inventory and space all in one price so I jumped on it.

I don't want to go into too much detail on my Game as this is still the internet and this is the fukking Coli but mind you I winged this shyt with going out on my own and I have a long history of managing shyt as I did in the Corp America world so dealing with people, setting goals, metrics, building relationships etc was easy for me.

The only thing I was firm on was keeping my business with my folk. My money and taxes are handled by a black woman and my business ideas, strategy and the like are shared with the two brothers I mentioned above on the studio are black. :myman:

My accountant I mentioned I known since 2006 and we go WAY back..she and I are the same age and she runs her own side accounting business. :myman::myman:

ALWAYS keep it with your folk like Jews do. Never share your business with non blacks ESPECIALLY Asians....:wtb: I haven't ran into any black business owners up here in Seatown but I am not putting my face out there like that. Asians are NOSY tho...have a few always in my Vape shop asking questions but my employees really play dumb as the previous owner had this problem too.

So I hope that answered all the questions? You just eventually have to get out there and try it but sometimes being in the right place and time....helps. :merchant: shyt ain't gonna be easy but if you can put in the work...stay sane...and run far enough from the Plantation then it's wonderful.

If someone doesn't have a lot of liquid cash, can financing a studio still be profitable?

Read up as I answer to that previously but my situation is unique as I had the cash to do so from turning a profit.

It all depends where you are in your situation. My credit just hit 702 as of last week but I don't use credit at all. I just use cash to do what I need to do but my overhead isn't big at all for my Vape shop so I don't have to spend that much to maintain except getting my carpets cleaned from foot traffic and restocking.

No. Studio involving music is literally a bad fukking idea. I have a solid friend of mine who actually owns one.

He has a LOT of problems with nikkas not paying, fukking in the studio, fighting, fukking up equipment, and the like.

He says it's one of the WORST things any business owner can get involved in...and I have been on hand there to see how shyt goes down and it's just dusty nikkas and dusty bytches trying to reach a dream that won't happen.

I own a Yoga studio where trainers bring their clients and classes because of the lake view. Studio cost me 45K to own.

My side hustle (which can hopefully be a main hustle in a year or less) is a food manufacturing business. I won't get too detailed since the industry is pretty tight knit and being one of the only Blacks will give me away but I will drop it is a fermented product.

Getting started in food manufacturing can be a firehose type experience. You have to not only learn how to make the product good (duh) but maintain this quality as you scale the production. In addition you have local, state, and federal (FDA) guidelines you have to follow and spot inspections where they ask everything about safety, sanitization, refrigeration, etc.

I started out in a shared kitchen which is a commercial kitchen set up where you can rent time in a place that is already approved by the health department. This was invaluable as I could pay for flex time when my business was young and didn't have to buy all the kitchen stuff (3 bay sink, hand wash sink, chemicals, etc.) A lot of hot sauce guys do this.

The only issue with food production though is depending on the type of food, it is pretty capital intensive. Luckily with fermentation (as opposed to baking, etc.) I was able to build a lot of my own equipment or buy used stuff that saved tens of thousands of dollars. Then once the operation is up you have to sell, sell, sell. Luckily I have some store and distribution accounts as well as Amazon to push product.

I got my own place about a year ago and the rent is a killer but I am finally making it over the hump and I think I will soon be able to pay down a good portion of the debt and hit prime time knock on wood.

Breh, you based out of Sactown? Rep.

That's my city. I'm out in the bay now hustling in IT, but grew up in Natomas. Moving back in Jan. Goal is take my food side hustle out to Sac and help add to that massive growth the city is experiencing.

I really feel like Sactown could be the west coast spot for brehs and brehettes to prosper with some investment and time.
