Have yall even seen a child support calculation form? Its all based on existing income/expenses. If your and the child's income/expenses don't add up to a certain amount, you aren't going to have to pay something larger. Its all math based on existing income/expenses. Op should actually be ashamed comin trying to humble brag on the amount he pays, while getting you all riled up and not wanting to take care of kids based on an outlier case.

the below is a more average case.breakdown where both parents make about 60k combined. and believe it or not, the first column is what the mother makes so you see her portion is more. the second column is what the father makes, and the last column is the total.

Yup. I had a colleague in the entertainment industry, who couldn’t travel abroad for work due to being delinquent on his child support.

He pleaded with the courts saying if he got this job opportunity, he’d be up to date but they still denied him travel. His dumb BM didn’t see how it would benefit her and their child, she just wanted to see him suffer.

After the south, I wouldn’t wish child support on my worst enemy.

What you said is correct. They hit you for 2 years prior to the date when your in court. They will ask the mother how much you've given her and if she's pursing back child support. If she says you gave her nothing and yes she would like back support your ass in the hole for ten of thousands of dollars BEFORE your actually paying the support they order that day.

I knew a guy whos BM took him to court for back cs the bytch said he gave her $30 in two years and she wanted back child support. Buddy was giving her money every week but was smart enough to send it thru cashapp so there was a paper trail. Judge gave her nothing.

A married father with kids may fall on hard times financially leading to him not being avle to bring home the bacon....he will get sympathy from his wife.

However, if a "baby daddy" money gets low, he's going to catch hell from his baby momma.....even though the situations are exactly the same financially.

I just got word the sheriff knocked on my brother in law’s girlfriend’s door looking for him for unpaid child support.

Y’all be careful out there. I can see celebrities getting hit with high amounts, but the average everyday blue collar man has to pay a lot in child support, then doesn’t have much left over to survive. On the other hand, the kid needs to be supported, and it shouldn’t fall all on the mother.

Just think about the possible consequences when you nut raw in women. Short term gratification is not worth the long term consequences.

A couple is involved when having kids, not just one person. So you can't say don't have kids if you can't afford them. Now if that couple together can't afford a kid, then yeah don't have them.
