What are your real thoughts on Tyler Perry?

Its obvious he has made great strides in the film industry but at what cost? I dont really know what to think about him. I can barely stand to watch any of his movies/shows containing crossdressing and shuckin' but his impact is undeniable and he should be saluted for that. What are your thoughts on him as an entrepreneur? Film maker? Black excellence?

He makes good films outside of dressing up like a woman. And he cosigned Precious which is the only blight i see on his career outside of dressing up as a woman which is a form of demonic filth.

Great entrepreneur. All the Madea films are . His non Madea movies are way too melodramatic & cliche but some arent bad. I liked Good Deeds & for Colored Girls. He should try to put on young black directors that are actually creative behind the camera

made millions but still dresses up as medea for no apparent reason..... I even told my moms that shyt was suspect and she was like he plays medea for his audience it's supposed to be a caricature of his dead grandmother...

But ma he already made his millions accomplished all he needed to do, Flip Wilson stopped dressing in drag at some point too right?!?
