Ive said it before on here a few times. My household is a single income home. We decided once I started making good money, she would go to school full time to get her law degree.
Wife got into three law schools. One would have paid 70% tuition, plus I gave her my GI Bill and yellow ribbon program would have paid the rest.

Ended up in Panama City, PA and she got pregnant. She hasnt worked since.

Kids are tough. We get to see them off everyday and pick them up everyday. When I’m home, our time is our time. No office hours, commuting, work drama etc. Plus, one of our daughters is on the spectrum. ABA therapy, OT, speech therapy are all things we must do every week. Having a job would be tough to manage.

It works for us.

Once our six year old is comfortable in school and caught up, Wifey might be ready for law school again. If not, we good either way. I believe we are one. I believe that’s the only way to have a successful marriage. There is no mines or hers, there’s only us and our unit. Once you think that way, you will overcome anything.
