Okay since this thread is about reading. Figured this would be the place to ask. Anybody has a problem when it comes to focusing when it comes to reading? Like seriously, i cant read a book for longer than 10 pages without getting distracted whether my body starts getting jittery and i feel i have to get up or end up doing something else or falling asleep. I heard that thats symptoms of ADHD.

Currently reading `The Eye of the World: Book One of The Wheel of Time` from the library.

Book is so damn long that it could be three separate books. Already bought book 2 and ripped it into calibre, so I will get my stats up in KOReader before I potentially pivot away instead of reading book three :lupe:

Looking for some horror books to read; I might start the haunting of Hill house.

My girl was looking at my bookshelf the other day and noticed I had Kafka lol, I dead ass don't know who that is. My mom just got me some philosophy books when I was kid because I used to think that shyt was so cool.

  • The art of war, Sun Tzu
  • The Tibetan book of the dead, the manuscript of the Bardo Thodol
  • Candide, Voltaire
  • Metamorphosis, Franz Kafka
I don't remember reading them, but she said I was obsessed with these books as a kid.

We did of mice of men, Fahrenheit 451, Watchmen, great Gatsby, Hamlet, death of a salesman and probably more I'm forgetting.

Strange eh

The only one of those books that wasn't required for us was Watchmen. Is that the comic book? That shyts crazy they made a comic book required reading, although it is a damn good one.

My English teacher that year was a real one, he knew the only way to get everyone really engaged was by adding a graphic novel.
