I like you Hogan but if your gonna tell me that a socialist would get his policies thru a republican majority then im just going to have to file you in with the other sanderistas :francis:

Sorry breh :francis:
He will, because he will try. Obama didn't. When you have A MANDATE you get shyt done. Bush didn't have a majority either, but he got those tax cuts and the war, and he definitely didn't have the Senate. You either go with the party with the momentum or mandate that will use it (unlike Obama with an FDR one after he barely avoided an economic Armageddon), or you risk getting ran the fukk out of Washington in the midterms.

It's that simple. Bush and Co. named names and made people famous, not bring on half the opposition onto his Cabinet like a limp wristed fakkit. What you really have to ask yourself is why did Obama keep giving so much to the GOP, and likely a court justice, when they keep saying fukk YOU ******? You would call a dude like that a mark in the worst sense.

Good post! I was wondering in your opinion, who do you feel are the 5-10 greatest U.S. Presidents? I've read some of your posts and think you have made good points.

Truth be told, Republicans are the only ones who know how to use the presidency the way it was meant to be. I do remember Dems knowing how, but most of you have become soft and easily lied to. Republicans just will lie and do everything they want to enrich themselves, while Democrats triangulation races against each other to give shyt to their "Higher power", and people get tricked that the presidency doesn't mean shyt, until they run again.

:snoop:

It's goddamn pathetic when you contrast all of the two term presidents with Obama. It's really like why the fukk do contemporary liberals keep running for? This shyt ain't no pet project.

Raise money for down ticket democrats so they can get elected and push her agenda, something Bernie has never done and has no interest in doing.

The day Obama was elected Republicans came out and said they were doing everything in their power to block him from doing anything. He never had a super majority in the Senate for reasons ive already laid out for you so the republicans put a blanket filibuster on everything. The only point ill agree with you on is that democrats are more eager to agree with republican agendas than vice versa. Thats how Bush was able to get things done, because Democrats wont shut the government down to get their way, republicans will.

shyt, that is hard! I can't really put them in order, but I'll try chronologically. I really don't have a true favorite, because even Kennedy and FDR were racists.

But top 5.

Washington, Jefferson, Adams I, Lincoln, Teddy Roosevelt, FDR, Kennedy, Johnson

Clinton is like a Kennedy lite, but was pretty amazing living through that period. He was the first celebrity president, and he exuded optimism, humor, and intelligence, which is why Obama doesn't trick me. He was a lot stronger than Obama as well, although his policies aren't too good in hindsight, and he likely benefited from the tech bubble.

Washington is slightly overrated, but he did give us the greatest gift, he set the 2 term system up. Yes, FDR violated it, but who knows what would've happened if some cult of personality character from the Right abused it.

1. Good post, didn't know JFK was a racist. What about his race speech he gave in June 1963?

2. Also, which U.S. presidents would you say were the most agressive/confident/assertive when it came to pushing policy they wanted through? You mentioned Obama being limp-wristed and was wondering which former U.S. presidents do you feel were opposite of that?

3. WHich U.S. presients woudl you say were the greatest orators/public speakers?
