moleskines for certain topics (made a semi-monthly journal for my son, one for business, separate smaller ones for different subjects/hobbies)

back in the day when i was using fountain pens like that i liked the notebook that i had from Rhodia that was a splurge and maybe an upsale from the pen salesman at the pen store on K st NW
