You guys never focus on anything real in this West vs BRICS stuff.
Some of the most important things that will determine how the world goes in the next 20 years is climate change (reason why the idea of Russia/China/India being aligned is hilarious), demographic cliffs (age and skewed gender ratios), and epidemics yet all these threads devolve into is misinformation about trade, manufacturing, economics, and diplomacy lol.

Cool, generally speaking the US unwittingly handed that to them on a silver platter but that's water under the bridge. If the US can get it's shyt together collectively on the Congressional and Executive level to actually turn that around (and that's a big IF) then China would eventually succumb to US influence.
The US has too many advantages already in place and at their fingertips. If I listed them all out it would just come off as dikk riding the military industrial complex... Unless I brought up the geographical advantages because low key, that's what makes the US almost invincible in the grand scheme of things.
If I'm gonna keep it 100% funky then I gotta break it down like this:
The US military can bogart any of it's neighboring nations at any time like
The US military can do this to 97% of the nations on google earf. China can't do that. No other nation can. Look at a map of Asia with US bases....
The web of logistics that the US has laid post WW2 is pretty fukking tight. And if i'm gonna keep it really funky, China is getting high of it's own supply to some degree. They feel that they have finally shed the shame of the "Century of Humiliation" and wanna spread their wings. But in order to do so they have to break the already existing web of containment put in place starting a couple of generations ago.
War with China would suck but they would get washed at the end of the day imo.

And the US has military bases in Japan, the Philippines, and South Korea. Trying to encircle China to limit them like they did with Russia. The only problem is that China isn't run by a bunch of idiots like their previous opponent.
And they have the largest economy on earth that the US needs which never happened with Russia since their economy was comparatively quite small.
Also the military history of the US shows that it's a cowardly country that only picks fights against small opponents like Grenada, Syria, Libya, Iraq, and Afghanistan.
And they dodged Germany in WW2 until Russia turned the tide and made it safe to fight them. And they eagerly fought Japan only because it was a tiny island nation. And before then the last time the US fought an opponent who could actually shoot back was the War of 1812. And we all know what happened there.
So because of a combination of typical cac racism and arrogance the US is just barking like they always do but they don't want to do anything but posture to boost military contractor profits and the profile of cowardly politicians.
The problem though is that China isn't playing about Taiwan.
