Class starting at 7:20 in the damn morning

Homework

The fact that they expect you to choose courses/apply to colleges they claim will determine your station in life, but wearing hats and drinking soda would apparently push us over the edge

High school was cool for the most part

Only thing I didn't like was them fake gangs
Had underclassmen mean mugging because they were in a "gang"

This is true. I remember a time where African Americans, Jamaicans, etc would just pound and beat the shyt out of Haitians until they started fighting back. Now if u go to prison and you're hatian, you're pretty much treated like royalty

Waking up at 6am for class at 8.
Limited action (partially my fault, there were girls that wanted me, but I was oblivious and really self-conscious)
Uniforms for 3 years (plus I had uniforms from K-8, so when I went off to college I had no clothing, and was scrambling)
Being a bit of a loser (but I had friends, so I had no idea how much of a loser I was)

Went to school in the hood. I remember one day my freshmen year, we had like 26 fights in one day.
We also were always on lockdown bc of shootings and killings. (First 48 had an episode literally across the street).
Haitian flag day, they always brought the horses out cuz they knew it would get crazy.
Teachers fighting students.
A teacher bringing a gun to school and threatening students bc they tried to jump her son.
Other than that, I actually enjoyed high school
