To be fair, what watered down the art form of DJing is technology.

I used to DJ myself back in the day and did strictly vinyl but that's cause that was the time before CD decks were really popping or people were using their laptops. I'd like to get back into it but these days, I wouldn't know where to begin. Its pretty different than what I learned to spin on.
