Isn't that the point of relationships? You discuss things and if they're logical you can reason with their beliefs. I've had conversations where I'm close with someone white and helped them understand my point of view, why shouldn't they be able to do the same? I mean there is obviously a difference between blindly defending someone just because you're in a relationship with them and coming to understand a view they may hold. In my experience with a interracial relationship I opened her eyes to most things but she still provided a few gems on how I view humanity. If you're in a IR its unlikely that you're partner is going to be a bigoted person, so why wouldn't I consider their outlook when developing mine?

You're assuming that the black person wouldn't be in a relationship with people whose views on race align together regardless of skin color.
I know white people who while you all will claim don't really like me are secret racists yadayadayada views on race are closer too like or the same than black people or other minorities I know.
When I'm thinking about a relationship race isn't a criteria, fact is in my life time where I live I haven't met a single black women or man who shared the same interests as me on any level and that's important for me.
Also you're wilfully forgetting that there's a large portion of non black people who don't support racial injustices which includes white people as there have been throughout history which thecoli always intentionally ignores.
Either way I don't prefer white women, I've never dated a white women, only two white girls in middle and elementary school and don't really have any racial preferences and can't will myself to so I'll do what I want to do.
And I really wish all these fools who scream white devil and cac and all that bullshyt would stop putting white women on a pedestal and stop fukking them because it's hypocritical and just downright stupid.

Never been in a full blown interracial relationship myself, but as a nerdy, square dude who likes to skateboard and enjoys soap operas, I will see my interests lined up

Filipino, italian, and Columbian. She didn't really identify with any race (even though she looked Mexican) so when it came to any racial tensions she would just slide with our side just about all the time
