I am doing something. I'm doing what I can to help out in my community by voting locally and I just wrote that im in communication with my kids school board to try and up security measures.

What do you think the families of the children who were killed want to hear? Because the shooter is dead. There's no get back. What exactly do you tell someone who outlived their children other than being there for them with thoughts and prayer? We are powerless in most situations. It isn't about god or religion, it's about compassion.

Respectfully, fukk compassion. What parents need to hear are plans and legislation being passed to prevent this from happening again. If that means banning military grade weapons from civilians, or banning guns or sticter gun laws, so be it.

Automatic weapons are already illegal to own unless you have a special permit that is very hard to get. Violence in Mexico is some of the greatest in the world and yet they actually have some of the strongest gun control laws in the world.... but yet criminals, who break the law by profession' aren't deterred and are armed to the teeth and are causing havoc over there.

For believers, there is clearly a spiritual issue within the United States. The lack of faith is evident in every corner of society. Our thoughts and prayers are to be with those that have perished and to remind God's children of how little control we have in this world he has given to the prince of darkness for a time.

Again, why concern yourself with something you believe doesn't exist? How is that affecting you? Why not concern yourself with the humans that actually do the killing and the influences that twisted his mind to do the killing? Are you concerned with the heavy metal music the boy listened to? How about the people online that the boy was talking to that could have pushed him to engage in these acts?
