Because he attacked me as not taking action. I only pointed out the measures I have taken (albeit small measures) because I know that when you make threads like this, you better have contributed something behind your complaint.
Fair enough hope all follow up and take action one way or another

So what would you you suggest? It sounds like you are against banning all firearms outright.

The reality is that there is no simple fix, but we have to recognize that these shooters often have patterns of being angsty and isolated and then 'lash out' with these acts of extreme violence. We're in a nation filled with people being programmed with all kind of degenerate messages and we're also a nation that is largely apathetic towards the struggles of the rest of society. Combine that with access to things like drugs that can further twist the minds of the populace, and you create a powder keg that is always ready to explode.

Even on here, especially if you were here during the older days, you'll see people delight in the misery and the mocking of others. Elliot Rodgers was a dude that exploded because he was an 'incel' and couldn't get the women he thought he deserved, but yet people still love calling each other incels and virgins and mocking each other. Things have cooled down a lot, but there was a period where people loved 'exposing' each other and ridiculing each other to the extent of delving into their real lives. Bullying ends up being the cause of a lot of mass violence, but rarely do we ever see anyone tell someone else, "Hey, stop talking to that person like that!" In America, people enjoy seeing others in misery until they explode and then that's when everyone gets sad.

There's usually some kind of pain or twisted ideology that makes these guys explode. There's more guns than people in America, and most owners use their guns responsibly. The problem is that the tiny minority who is 'through with society', explodes and decides to take out a lot of people. The real question is how do we identify when someone gets to that breaking point? How does society become less apathetic and more supporting? Very rarely if ever do you see completely happy people who have great family support and are filling 'fulfilled' grab a gun and 'blow up'. It's always someone who has some strange ideologies where an enemy is concocted in their head, whether it is black folks, immigrants, etc. or someone who has a lot of anger because they feel like they are denied something in life they are deserving of.

On the point of God and religion, if people actually followed what was said in the BIble, then we'd have much less violence... meaning instead of ridiculing and tearing each other down, they build each other up. Life and death is literally in the power of the tongue. If you see someone getting bullied, put a stop to it. You see someone who is increasingly isolated and angsty, talk to them and figure out why they are that way. Actually caring and looking out for each other will significantly reduce the violence. Prison is one of the most violent and dangerous places in the world and yet there are no guns. It's the mentality of the people in there that makes it so.

Above the fray.
"Bu bu bu but open registration. Yeah, that'll be a good idea"

@The Coolest Negro ,
Somebody should have explained this to you earlier in life. Your anger should be directed at the ones who were tasked to raise you, not at people coping with seeing tragedy and trying to cope with it.

You will fit right in with the other dozens of neglected and poorly raised dudes here.

It's performative "empathy". Basically fake hustle : you "show" concern but don't change anything about your own thoughts and actions. Pretty sure a majority of coli brehs and other people talking about "Thoughts and Prayers" and "RIP to the victims" still go on writing essays about how real gun control is "communism" or "impossible" (even though it's done in damn near every developped country in the world) and how they still "need" their own guns to "protect themselves".

Could’ve not used all these words and rather just said. “I don’t want to do shyt because I don’t care”

Word salad garbage and no actual solutions. Also no religion isn’t a fukking solution. Republicans all are Christian and dangerous and violent as fukk.

Yeah the solution is definitely American Christianity which is hyper racist, hyper violent and literally was one of the catalysts for the revival of the KKK

What do you think the families of the children who were killed want to hear? Because the shooter is dead. There's no get back. What exactly do you tell someone who outlived their children other than being there for them with thoughts and prayer? We are powerless in most situations. It isn't about god or religion, it's about compassion.
What they want to hear is "this must never happen again and here is what we will do about it as the people you elected to solve problems"

If the people who are in charge and have the power to do something don't use it, those thoughts are 'glad that aint me' and those prayers are 'please lord don't ever let that happen to me either'

As long as they feel that God is on their side and that's why the schools their kids stay at don't get shot up, they will proceed to do nothing. Its not real until it happens to them. Mass shootings won't be a problem until they watch their closest friends and family bleed out. Climate change won't be a problem until all their servants bounce to live in a cooler climate or die on the job from heat stroke.

Peep how fast they moved on covid when it was confirmed that seniors and travellers are at the highest risk and it wasn't just infecting the 'undesirables' see how quick they moved on ukraine while there are civil wars raging in Myanmar and Ethiopia. Unless it starts affecting them personally they think none of these things are their problem and think the power they enjoy was given to them by God. The reason they don't suffer is because they think God chose them as special and protects them. They have no genuine sense of empathy or sympathy

Republicans aren't all Christians, and if you want to speak of death, nobody has killed as many in a short of time as atheists. Pol Pot, Stalin, and Mao Zedong have killed more than anyone over a period of time

Please do not try to compare the death tolls of Christians vs Atheist. It is irrelevant to the topic.

:russ:Believing this would require completely ignoring the political violence atrocities that are committed by every capitalist state in the history of man. Some of us actually know history sweetheart. Also Stalin’s total death number also includes an absolute shyt ton of Nazis

But keep pushing garbage because you want to defend peoples right to fukking murder children in a classroom. fukking loser
