Sully needs to play like this all the time. I know its just the Sixers, but the offense looks great.
I always thought Sullinger would develop a huge offensive game.

Yeah, he was a beast at thee Ohio State. The only reason he dropped to the C's at 21 was because of his back issue being a red flag. But he was a great steal. Now he is really looking legit.
Bruh, Kevin Love lite. He just needs to be more assertive when it comes to rebounding.
By the way @vbamz are you watching the post-game segment on the Celtics? They're talking about Rondo.
What do you truly believe will happen to him? Is he moved by the trade deadline? Does he stay and we build around him?
I'm torn on this issue.
Is this on CSNNE? I need to upgrade my sports package, cuz I'm out of state. What are they saying about him? I mean, I have no problem with him being traded, if is a good package (ie young talent, multiple picks). I just want to see how Rondo fits with this group and offense. If he stays, I hope it would because we get a big free agent in 2015. What I would hate is if he isn't traded and we get nothing for him. But I think he stays and the Celtics contend next season. What would you really like to happen?
Keep Rondo, Sullinger, and Bradley. Flip everybody else (except our current expiring contracts) for more expiring contracts and draft picks at the trade deadline. Make a run at Marc Gasol. Then see if we can get Rudy Gay. Draft smart. Round out roster perimeter specialists and defensive big men.
Yeah that's the best case scenario. If we can get Marc, then we good. Definitely need the perimeter specialists.@ Rudy Gay. I know that's Rondo's boy. Do you think he would fit the offense? I mean I know he has a bad rap. But I'd do it if that's what it takes to get Gasol
Im not sold onRudy can fit in our offense for the fact that he spaces the floor and would keep defenses at bay when it comes to Rondo driving in the lane (or if we were to run pick-and-roll). Rondo driving the ball and kicking it out to Gay on the perimeter would be a welcome sight. Rudy can also create his own shot on offense and score in punches. He's a scoring threat that would keep defenses honest. I honestly think Rudy was unfortunate in Memphis during 2010-11. He was playing very well up to his injury. And nobody could've predicted that Memphis would make run at the WCSF...as the 8th seed...despite Rudy's absence. But since he's been on the Kings and Raptors, I think he's bounced back fairly well. The talent and skill are certainly there. If anything, I question his mentality. But with Rondo (and hopefully Gasol), he'd have that incentive to perform. And I actually think Stevens' coaching style would benefit Rudy heavily.
And, Rudy or not, I still say we need to go at Gasol. An all-star, defensive-minded center is exactly what the Celtics need. And he's a great passer for a big man. Moreover, if he becomes more aggressive on offense, he can be a high-post scoring threat. He could be a phenomenal point forward.
Imagine a starting lineup of:
M. Gasol
J. Sullinger
R. Gay
A. Bradley
R. Rondo
At the very least, that team would finish top 5 in the East. And that's before we start talking about our selected draft picks and other players on the roster.

That lineup. I think finishing at 3 in the East is the floor for that team. Now that you put it that way.
Rudy has improved since his Memphis days. I just checked out his stats on basketball reference. I must have been sleeping on him last season, but looks like he was beasting.
Damn, imagine if we did get that lineup next year. It would make last season, and perhaps this one, worth having to sit through the borderline un-watchable basketball we were be subjected to.![]()
