If it's hard to go more than a week without a drink you got a problem

Anything more than five drinks a week.

But thankfully its the second easiest drug to kick

Then what does it even mean to be an alcoholic.

The levels y'all are talking about are pretty low level.

A person is addicted when the booze replaces body functions and they suffer withdrawals when they try to stop.

The real bullshyt occurs when quitting actually hurts. Booze is easy to kick.. until it's not.

I've quit for months on end multiple times. At first it was a breeze. After a few times it got serious.

The symptoms get worse each time you quit and start again.

Can you explain what the symptoms are that get worse?

Probably near half of adults in society are alcoholics.

Doesn’t mean they drink every day. If you drink every time you go out to dinner, celebrate something, meet up with certain people your an alcoholic. Myself included.

I see alcohol asa problem when they feel sick if they haven’t drunk. When the symptoms of sobriety causes pain then its a problem
It’s a problem when it impacts your weight, organ health and vitals and you don’t have to experience withdrawals for that to be the case

Blood pressure goes up.

Headaches. Blurry vision. Can't sleep.

"Dry drunk" is a name for it.

On the severe end, people get the shakes and can even die if they quit suddenly. I haven't gotten to that point thank goodness.
