@ocmfII how's the mpg on the jeep? I hear they've got a lot better

It's not as terrible as the last jeep I had (srt) but definitely not great. Honestly I don't even pay too much attention because I barely drive it much. I take a train to and from work Monday through Friday so aside from to and from the train station which is about 2.5 miles I only do local driving on the weekend. If I fill up once every 3 to 4 weeks it's a lot for me. I've had it almost a year and a half and I have less than 9k miles on it.

I guess I should have mentioned my wife's car also. She has a 2006 Infiniti M35S, her note is $598 a month. I don't know her interest rate because she bought it before we got married. It should be paid off by next year. She didn't mind paying for it because it was her dream car and she got it. She still loves it too so I think she will keep it until the wheels fall off. She loves that car and said that she wouldn't think about getting another car until this one starts giving her trouble but so far it hasn't.

I hope to join this exclusive "fill up every XX weeks" group. My new home (wife and I move in next month) is a 5 minute walk away from the subway. No driving to work!! My car will stay parked in the driveway ALL WEEK!!:blessed:

That doesn't make a lick of sense :wtf:
I hear you. Sometimes I think what I could be doing with the extra cash with a cheaper car but I was blessed with a great career so I can afford it.
It was also a present to myself for busting my ass for 2 years straight at work.

Sucks though cuz now I feel like I couldn't ever have another car without a HUD :wow:

Are you leasing or financing?
The payments make nonsense to me that's why. You have to put nothin down to get that high of a note

Financed, it all depends on the price of the car.

My car retail was $52k fully loaded, I bought it for $37.5k, 1800 miles, 2% rate , and put $7k down. Factor in taxes and all the extra stuff and you get $618 a month :yeshrug:

@Heafcliffe & @HookersandIceCream , at the time that was what she wanted. And she didn't mind paying that note to get it. It's funny because the car she had before that was a Ford Contour. That was her 1st car she ever had. She had never had a note on the car and it got her thru college and everything. So when they told her they totaled it out she wanted something nice for herself. She originally wanted a Maxima or Accord but when she saw that Infiniti and the dude told her that the car was about $8,000 to $10,000 more than what she was looking to pay, she didn't care. Then after she test drove it, she was hooked. She put a down payment on it and drove it off the lot. At the time we was just dating so who am I to tell her what to get and what not to get. I just reminded her that it was more than what she was looking to pay but she got it. And she doesn't regret it at all. As long as you can afford it, that's what matters.

A typical lease is like 12K a car :heh:
How is it? What options and trim did you get?
I been looking to lease a new car.
shyt that would have never worked for me.

I love it, got the turbo engine, premium trim ,heads up display, blind spot monitor, park assist, daytime running LEDs, red interior, upgraded paint job, exterior lights on the door handles, remote start ,4 wheel drive
