ive never liked lamelo but he looks solid rn. CHA finally has assembled a team that plays to their strengths. Theyre fast and stretch the floor. Will have to see what happens when they run into a playoff team who forces them to play slow and in half court. Next year is the real test assuming they stay healthy.
They'll be an interesting team in the playoffs. With Kneuppel, LaMelo, Miller and Bridges they can easily hit 18+ threes in a game a couple times and win a few games off anyone
I’ve said it before but this team is going to derail either the Knicks or Pistons in the playoffs and then of course get their ass beat in the next round.
They need a solid 8-2 run to end the season and take the momentum into the playoffs. Right now they could be the #10 team or 6/7 with the way the bottom half of the east is looking

Knicks are gonna be the 3 or 4 seed so I don't think the Hornets will get that high. Boston with Tatum back is just all wrong for the Hornets. Pistons..... they will win but that is not an easy first round opponent for the 1 seed.
Oh I believe the hornets will find their way out of the first round somehow and be the one overachieving team of the playoffs just because they can string wins together magically

Yeah... Cats wanna give hand jobs to Kon but playing off of Melo's style of play is what makes him so efficient.... Miller coming into his own as a 3 level scorer is gonna make him a problem over the next 3 years... The front office has a good problem on their hands and can probably add some pieces to make them a consistent playoff team over the next 3 years by adding the right pieces....
