What does a ring, MVP & FMVP do for Curry's legacy?

I say Top 3 PG of all time behind Isiah and Magic. He's put both the "Jumpshooters & point guards don't win Championships" myths to bed. And did it in style.

Craziest thing about this Golden State team is there's still a lot of room for improvement with them. Potential dynasty on the cards when you look at the ages of Steph, Klay, Barnes & Green.

I'm not ready to go top 3 PG ever. Steph needs more longevity on his resume before we start having this conversation. He only has three great seasons (really 2 1/2 since he broke out post ASG in 2013) with the most recent being his very best. Should give him more time to build up that legacy but I will say that in terms of sheer peak performance he's up there with some of the best to ever do it. That includes Nash and Kidd. This one of the best offensive years from a PG the game has ever seen

Depends on what he does after this. This shyt is looking like some perfect storm shyt for Curry this year though and there's still a pretty good chance he doesn't win a title or an MVP. Golden State isn't winning in Cleveland tomorrow, and I wouldn't bet against Bron in the game seven. And even if they win that FMVP isn't looking like guarantee.

But say he does win both, this shyt seems very Celtics 08ish to me. I can't imagine this team repeating next year once everyone comes back healthy (Cavs will be loaded, as will the Thunder; Spurs could retool, etc). He's DEFINITELY not top three PG, even if we only go 1980 and beyond... He's not better than Kidd or Payton or Stockton just because he had one great season. Now obviously the thing is Curry should have another decade to add on to his shyt so you never know.

In fact I'm mad at myself for typing this shyt. Let's just enjoy his career while it's being played. Legacy talk needs to happen after the career is over. Comparing active players to guys already retired is pretty stupid. We don't know what direction Curry's future will take.

Curry is great, but he's getting TOO much credit for this Warriors team. I think their bench could beat some starting line-ups in the NBA.
Man please. Curry is the reason why The Warriors are so dangerous. You take him away from that team and they're an average team in a very competitive Western Conference.

I've stated it before, I have no problem going with Curry in my all-time squad. A ring proves that Curry can lead a team to win playing his style of basketball. It means his skills are effective enough to win.

In order to have the same kind of legacy as Isiah and Magic he'll need to win more. But that's not to be confused with who'd be the right person to draft.

If you have a draft and need a point guard but take Isiah Thomas over Steph Curry, you need to slap yourself. Now Isiah is a great pg, but can't let the number of rings dictate who'd be a better pg if inserted into a team. I'll even state if there was an all-time draft I'd take Hakeem in the first and Curry in the 2nd round and build from there.
Isiah's handles:

Compared to what Curry does today is laughable.

I also have a feeling this Golden State team will be a dynasty. Only thing stopping themselves were getting in their own heads and getting the championship jitters. Next season they'd already have experience and feel no pressure, they could go on to just "play" if they want, which is pretty much when they're at their best. Remember Curry has very little mileage on him. I wouldn't even be surprised if Curry hasn't entered his prime either.
