Girl, why would you do this to yourself? I'm not judging you though, I did it too, when I was like thirteen and didn't know any better, but let me tell you, NEVER AGAIN.

Because my mother has naturally straight hair and I wanted it too.
And plus the treatments lasted like 3 months so I wouldn't have to restraighten my hair for a while I could just wash and go.

there's nothing wrong with that in and of itself. but it gets so bad that women like tracy ellis had to come out and tell black women to stop worshiping her hair
