Schroeder showed me more in 2 years than Rubio in 4
Ok you named 14 (not counting Schroeder because he doesn't start and he's not better than ricky) there are what 30 teams in the league? if he's better than half of them how is he not a playoff caliber PG? Alot of those cats avg less then 6 assist a game on better teams manHe still sucked when you compared him to the other NBA PGs,
Conley
Lowry
Curry
Rose
Irving
Lawson
Teague
Schroeder
Dragic
Westbrook
Bledsoe
Paul
Parker
Lillard
Wall
Are all better than him, and you can make a claim that Russell & Mudiay will probably be better as well. The Wolves have to see that he's not a starting level PG on a good team by now, and looking at your roster you're going to need a PG that can hit the 3 at a respectable clip to give Wiggins & Shabazz space and prevent teams from constantly going under the picks that Towns will set for him.
I agree that he needs to develop SOMETHING steady on offense but for his position he gets to the line a lot and shoots 81% from there. Not to mention the steals and plays he makes with the 8+ assist.Go worry about Kemba Walker my nicca Im sure you have enough problemsSchroeder showed me more in 2 years than Rubio in 4

My breh, don't get caught up in APG, that is how Rajon Rondo got so overrated over the years, those guys may average less APG but they can finish at the rim and they don't shoot 38% from the field. He is a complete nonfactor when he doesn't have the ball in his hands, this season teams treated him like he didn't even exist once he gave up the ball.
you forgot to list isiah thomas, jordan clarkson, brandon knight, reggie jackson, and probably more

Nah man, I the assist argument works for Rondo because he was on a team stacked with HOF talent but when you can get top 5 five assist numbers with the rosters we've put together the last 3 years you have to look at the player fam. The wolves with Ricky on the floor are light years ahead of the wolves with him off on both ends of the floor. IMOSchroeder is definitely better than Rubio, in starts he averaged 14/8/3 on 42% and 35% from 3, I could have named more guys I mean realistically what is the argument for Rubio over Elfrid Payton? They do the same thing, except Payton can finish at the rim and isn't making $12 million a year. There are plenty of PGs I'd rather have, I don't even like Brandon Jennings but I'd take him over RubioMy breh, don't get caught up in APG, that is how Rajon Rondo got so overrated over the years, those guys may average less APG but they can finish at the rim and they don't shoot 38% from the field. Seems like the shift has begun

@Malta I believe Bazz and Wiggins can be effective 3 point shooters to so Im not worried about that. Plus Ricky isnt too bad from 3 either.

It's a different regime. All we know about Flip is that he hates Shabazz the way the Coli hates gay defensive ends.
But can we stop worrying about Love? He's not KG. As far as I'm concerned he plays with a different jersey on. Whether we're 46-10 or 10-46 he's getting the hell outta here and the guy who replaces him will just put up big numbers. Who cares?
After Ricky bounces that's the last potentially awesome player they'll ever have. They're not getting another one.
Stan C level players like all time greats brehsRicky is a career 31% 3 point shooter, he makes less than 1 per game on his career.
Why would you want your young athletic wings to be the guys taking the 3s? You have two guys with developing post games that can attack and create for themselves, they do not need the type of PG that Rubio is, they need someone that can create and play off the ball at times. Rubio cannot play off the ball at all, he doesn't need to be respected once the ball is out of his hands.
Yea, I dont want Bazz or Wiggings talking threes like that. But thats why I loved the Jones pick. He can give us that off the bench. I trust Rickys decision making and play making down the stretch. My thing is Rubio isnt the reason we had the record we had breh. He played 22 games last year. Injuries killed us the past 3 years. With all of our players healthy, Im willing to bet we were at or above .500. Ricky is getting a lot of hate but its not all his fault. Some of it is but not all. You dont put Bledso on these injury riddled teams and we are competeing for a play off spot. Im not buying it.Rondo was averaging 11apg before he got traded to the Mavs, the Celtics weren't stacked when he did that. But, once they got a PG like Thomas that the defense actually has to respect from outside they started winning.
How far down the totem pole of PGs do we have to go before we reach someone that wouldn't make the Wolves better? Like, would they be a better team with Rubio or Bledsoe? Lawson or Rubio? Knight or Rubio? etc etc.
