Seems like in the past few years homie's career has been getting subdue'd even tho his music remains consistent.

Its pretty much like ppl damn near dont give a fukk about homeboy.

What Wale gotta do to get his name up there with the current rap concious such as Drake, Future, Thug, Meek, Migos, Kendrick , Cole etc.

I aint even talkin bout sales either, cause Wale numbers prolly match or even surpass Future's. But as far as being a constant pulse on the culture he is just no out there like that.

Maybe he needs to be more likeable I feel like he can very easily rub people up the wrong way. He's music is really good and he's very talented but he also has no star quality. I'm not sure how he fixes that but I'm a big fan and have been for a while. Might also be biased as He's a fellow naija brother.

Nothing, from our perspective. From his, he wants more (I'm assuming), but they've got some weird kind of cap on him. Honestly they separate him from the rest of Hip Hop, but genuinely and honestly he is separate, he's a better MC/lyricist than most of them and makes better music than Ken and J Cole, and this is me comparing his old stuff to their new stuff. I gotta hear his new stuff, I'm just lazy when it comes to Hip hop tbh.
