You can’t continue to not care about foreign policy and have trillions & trillion$ wasted on corruption & then expect budget for what you seek.

Imagine a fiend owes you money but he keeps buying shyt & living beyond his means.
And you know about it but ignore it & keep asking for your money.

You have to care more about foreign policy.
so the black vote needs to be more vocal about reducing foreign spending in favour of reparations for black americans?

if so say so, some people on this site need plain english.

if they won't give a justice for now what makes you think they'll give of justice for then
We got justice when we use pressure for it.

Ahmad Aubreys killers just got Life in prison.

Similar incidents killers walk in the past .

Black Americans just aren't given Justice, they advocate and fight for it. Lynchings, Jim Crow and Slavery abolitions.
Prison Reform etc.

Black Americans gotta stop with "the give up mindset" sometimes.

We shoud donate to advocacy orgainizations in our best interest. And no it won't be easy.

Above the fray.
Reparations argument should go a step further. Black folks should seek reparations from the African countries that uprooted us from our ancestral home sold us to white people. Let's see how far that would go.
United States existed as a country for 70+ years when slavery was legal, and was under the British crown before that. The rest of the Western hemisphere has similar histories as colonies of European countries during the slave trade.

The modern-border African countries did not exist during the transatlantic slave trade.

Balck Historian Dr. Gerald Horne talks about how Black American leadership and the NAACP larglwy stopped being internationalist when Anti Jim Crow concession were made as a comprimise.

Also ADOS co-founder Yvette Darnell just critiqued USA spending on war to distract and give excuse for not supporting policy for Black Americans.

Biden just pushed 16 Billion for Ukraine support

How is that relevant?
The United States government is responsible to its own citizens who were enslaved in the USA and their descendants.

Jamaican American and Jamaican descendants of slaves are descendants of slaves in Jamaica. The Jamaican government should be appealed to by them

Above the fray.
Like around 2019 The members of The ADOS movement questioned members of Congress on camera and called office directly to see if they support House Resolution Bill 40 Study for Reparations for slavery. This increases the number of Congress members signing the bill. Also ADOS movement called out NCOBRA which is the reparations organization that has been around since the 90s but we're stagnant in getting momentum for reparations. NCOBRA then got more involved and directly asked certain Congress members to the bill.

But ADOS then advocated for changes and edits to the bad parts of the bill. The bad parts of the bill gives funding to members doing the study. A pay day

ADOS cofounders Yvette Carnell and Antonio Moore want the members of the study only to be compensated for lodges and food expenses and a stipend but not hundreds of thousands in a payday to members and the organizations.

Also another part of the bill fails to limit reparations to Black descndants of US slaves and opens it up to all Black Americans even those whondont descend from US slaves( Nigerian Americans Jamiacan American) etc.
The exclusivity is important in that it guards against challenges of race favoring and constitutionality.
The former member Ciroq Obama pointed out what he said their actual beef with the bill and the other organizations were.
Organizations that have been in existence for X amount of years would qualify to participate and receive compensation for the study.
He predicted that the new groups would take their foot off the gas in hopes of qualifying to get some of study money when it comes. The further away in time , the better their chance of qualifying. Said that was their main beef with the old groups resurfacing. That they could/would get compensated in the study.

How does Jamaica factor into my response to his comment about "African nations"?

It's a fight here at home, though. A fight that will pass the House, but not the Senate. Giving that money to Ukraine is much more popular than giving ADOS reparations or paying $20M just to study it.

First thing's first, gotta get politicians on record and on board. And by that, I mean both Dems and Reps. You have to lobby both sides. Right now the Republicans are lock-stepped 100% against it.

There ain't enough of us to get in power to push that agenda. Beyond that, Black politicians are scared. It's not happening.

Probably 1-2% of this country is Jewish and Israel is untouchable. They made it illegal to divest from Israel in the US.

You just need the right people in the right places.
