I’ll take your word on Biden voters, but it was a pretty common reaction following Iowa and New Hampshire for people to assume the moderates, once consolidated, would outnumber Bernie’s 30 whatever percent. The question was if the billionaire’s ego would prevent them from dropping out, and/or if the Pete-Amy rivalry would prevent them from dropping out.

Absolutely, after NH and Iowa, pundits were making that “if you add up the moderate vote” argument and Bernie world laughed on some “that’s not how it works”...but no, that’s exactly how it works
But the ones that didn't stay home put Trump over the top. My point is, all these complaints about Bernie are eerily similar to what never-Trumpers said in '16.
I’m still trying to understand how folk are confused that Sanders is on an island. It’s like they have muted everything he has said up to this point. Whether I agree or not is irrelevant. He has alienated a shytload of people and then we got folk confused that the people he alienated don’t rock with him?
Bernie’s only hope is a scandal or hope Joe exposes himself for being unwell, having early dementia, completely incapable.
