I hope this doesn’t become one of those it doesn’t exist threads like the gay agenda when they are all obvious. Anything that can be monetized has an agenda. And wokeism is monetized just like racism.
Is there really a gay agenda or are they forcing diverse sexual orientations in media too much? Most sexual shyt don’t even be adding to the plot and most of it is for shock value I think

Liberal cacs made it about gay rights, Marxism and other shyt

But for us it was ALWAYS about white supremacy and how it operates. For the record its just a rebranding of the phrase consciousness/conscious if you of a certain age, so for the younger and new blacks crowd thats what woke is. That’s why I just focus on the fundamentals of it and not all the extra shyt
Its really just an example of a cacs and eggheads overcomplicating something that ain’t that complex
You cannot seperate Marxism from the concept.

Prior to the hijacking(before 2015) people like Angela Davis, Kwame Toure and other prominent black Marxists were the face of being “woke”. The opposite state - sleep- is to be unlearned. The political activism of the 70s is the picture of woke and they were heavily influenced by those works.

Yes, in fact you can. Majority of the people Im familiar with wasn’t talking about Marxism but self-determination.

I don't subscribe to the cac definition of "woke". Specifically, acting as if shyt is and has always been sweet in American for Africans in America. Acting like this isn't enemy territory. Like this country hasn't spent most of its existence and pre-existence oppressing Blacks, world wide. That we need to be extra vigilant in white spaces because America does not have our best interests in mind.

In other words, my opposite of "woke" is active c00ning.:unimpressed:

And they probably weren’t woke.

You can be about self determination (which is a term from the 10 point program of the Marxist Black Panther Party) and not be woke. Clarence Thomas is all about Self determination but is largely sleep to the underpinnings of his concept of self determination.

The conscious community consisted of Francis Cress Welsing, Bobby Hemmitt, etc.. That goes back to the 80s for me and beyond for older brehs. CACs wasn't fcking with those teachings at all then. I believe somewhere along the way, you had some black people who didn't like the conscious community, and cried on the shoulders of CACs about it.. From there it jokingly evolved into "woke".
