They have been trying to dismiss all of that ever since Bernie started getting nation wide traction. People are going to have to vote in progressives over moderates during midterms. A big hurdle is that only 40% of the voting population comes for the midterms.
Even with the Presidential election we only get 50-60% to come out.

Only 63.9 came out in 2024 and Trump only won by 3m. So we let 30 some odd percent of the voting population put us in this predicament we are in today
