You've tried to make points by quoting theories from non academic articles. When you did finally post an academic article I addressed within the context of the state and schools that it applies to. You simply didn't like my response.
No you're blinding yourself. You asked me to show you data showing that black students are being admitted to schools they aren't qualified for. I asserted that if what I'm saying is true, we should see college graduation rates for black students go UP after affirmative action is dismissed. And I showed you an article showing exactly that. You keep trying to weasel your way around it when I just PROVED beyond a shadow of a doubt that affirmative action is admitting students who have a lower chance of graduating.
I couldn't care less if you're from Harvard. If anything you should be EMBARRASSED to say you're from Harvard. You come from the best university in the world and it did NOTHING to improve your critical thinking skills. You clearly are in capable of looking at data and seeing how it applies to the bigger picture. In sociology 101 this is called the sociological imagination.
I want to know what exactly is your conclusion from the UT Austin data. So you agree that black students at UT Austin are being admitted with significantly lower GPAs and SATs, but you don't think that affects their graduation rate? Are you serious right now?
