What happened to Ambrose?

He was great as an edgy unhinged militant rebel.

When he lost his mind and went full on crazy he lost that layered nuance with the more intelligent fan base. Him acting like a goofy crazy guy doesn't do much for me.

They goofed him and Roman up since the shield break. Only one that's been done right is Seth. They are fixing Roman so hopefully they'll fix Dean too. He's already acting a little less crazy than before.

They pushed him down as SOON as Roman came back...he was headlining houseshows and Reigns got that from him quick. And Bryan and Reigns basically main event every Raw and Smackdown.

I feel you but at the same time I'm pretty sure every wrestler has their unrealistic spots. Whether it's whoever Seth Rollins is facing being on his hands and knees perfectly positioned for the curb stomp or Shawn Michaels loudly stomping on the ground while prepping sweet chin music only for the opponent to STILL turn around and get kicked in the face like he don't hear that shyt or at least feel the vibrations

The crazy thing is that Ambrose is over as hell. Even after butchering him completely he still gets consistently loud pops, and I think it's because he seems to connect with that Stone Cold fanbase really well. No bigger than life show biz persona, no fancy costume, just a guy in regular clothes that can kick your ass as easily as hang out with you at a bar. Stealing Barrett's belt seems like creative is slowly realizing it as well, but they need to make him drop the looney tunes wacko side.

His character is awful, theme song is awful, and his ring work is boring IMO.

I have always said all this talk he had next needed to be deadened dude looks like the prototypical jobber and is being treated as such. Folks here were too emotionally invested to see reality. He is where he is suppose to be

I'm still an Ambrose fan, but I don't really care for the little changes they've made to the character since the Shield.

Yeah back when he was in the Shield you could clearly see he was a cold blooded Sociopath. Hell even after the break up he still had that Gimmick. I still like him and enjoy his antics but even I could tell that it's going too far now.

That being said, He's still over as hell tho. and it seems like he'll be getting his time soon (I hope)
