He was always overhyped. He's living off the draft hype he had.

You can't even blame the concussion because he's had turnover problems his whole career, quietly underdiscussed

He's good but he's nowhere near the top 3 or even top 5 like people wanted him to be. He's no better than Dak and Tua.

Best prospect of a poor ass QB class, I never heard anyone call him generational but i guess it wouldnt surprise me

Hes a play action QB and the jags have no run game
Trev was universally regarded as the greatest high school QB recruit ever, and then looked the part as a true freshman on that Clemson team that throttled Bama. He was getting generational talk before he even committed.

Say what you want, but Fields would be seen in a much higher light if he had the talent of some of these teams. The fact that it does matter the type of roster you have around you, look no further than Lawrence and Jones. Jones was a Pro Bowler as a rookie because his team was better, and Lawrence had Urban Meyer and not much talent. Flash Forward, Jones is fighting to be a starter and some casuals think Lawrence is top 7 :mjlol:

Wilson at least had what some say was a Super Bowl defense and he had the offensive and defensive rookies of the year, and he still sucks.

Trey Lance had a talented team, but got beat out by the last pick in the draft. We really never saw what he could do though because he got hurt and Purdy started winning games and he never got the opportunity again.

Fields had no offensive talent on the Bears until this season, and it’s still way behind a lot of teams. Defense got better after the trade for Montez Sweat, but Chicago fans know that the play calling has been abysmal with them giving up leads by playing it too safe on offense AND defense. Bears should be 8-6 right now because 3 of those losses were directly because of coaching (Denver, Detroit and Cleveland).
Fields sucks let it go
Tired of the excuses for this dude putting up 15/29 180 passing lines

North Jersey but I miss Cali :sadcam:
If you just looked at his stats, you would think he was an elite QB. The NFL is a joke right now. Parity rules. Before this week, there were only 4 or 5 teams in the NFC above .500.

The NFL have slanted the rules in favor of offenses so much that anybody can put up decent stats.

:mjtf: he currently has 18 tds and 12 picks, 15 total turnovers for the season

those arent the numbers of an elite qb no matter how you slice it

John Elway was considered an elite QB and all time great..

He only completed 60% of his passes or higher TWIC. And the threw double digit interceptions every year he was in the NFL.

Different era...

Well then Brady isn't the GOAT then. They literally changed the rules for QB's because of him. Allowed him to play until he was damn near 50.

Can't keep moving the goal posts to fit narratives.

If Drew Brees played in the 80's and 90's he wouldn't have put up those numbers. Hell, most QB's that played over the last 10 years.

And this is why I always disagreed with the Elway anointing. He was MID! Then got TD and bruh saved his legacy. It was a different game back then but Elways was constantly turning the ball over.
