SMF and LAX to VA and NC
I was with you until the bolded. Those denver teams in late 80s had great defenses and elway was struggling in the offs. Where's @NYC Rebel to remind how the simpsons made fun of Elway not being able to get shyt done in the offs

Marino was the one who was held back by the rest of his team.

Still, Elway was way better than Trevor. Elway was like Josh Allen right now. He had a fukking cannon which very few qbs in the league had back then. Teams fear Allen now even if hes sometimes remedial with his picks and decisions. Trevor is just a naturally gifted QB who hasnt made many strides in dissecting the game everyone expected him to by now.
Elway one way more playoff games on the strength of his performance than Marino did, though...

Its not about trying too hard, its about watching him and his shytty decision making, erratic accuracy and suspect field vision that worries me. He leaves lots of plays on the field.

He's completing 66% of his passes with 19 tds and 12 picks. I still think he will be a very good QB. It's hard not to with Doug Pederson

He'll be fine ya'll trying way too hard on some bu bu bu bu if he was a black QB shyt blah blah blah :damn:

Idgaf about completion percentage, im actually watching these games!! Mac Jones had a great completion pct. In this version of the NFL, it means little. You know what does have merit, though? Third down and redzone conversion rate. 19 td vs 12 int. That would be wonderful if it was 2003, but its 2023. Do you know Carson Wentz had 27 td to 7 int in 2021 and got ran out of Indy and lambasted as a mediocre QB by nearly everyone?

They added Ridley to the offense so you'd think he'd take the next step in his development but he hasn't.

He's over hyped. They thought he was a Manning level, generational talent but he's not. The bar was set too high for him early at Clemson.
