What Happened With PS5 Exclusives This Generation?

Sony's brand recognition worldwide and most of importantly quality of games is why they are where they are.

All these delusions of Xbox coming back are done. War is over.

So then what is your favorite PS5 only title from this generation.
And to mix things up, lets exclude Astrobot. Nobody else answered that question so hopefully you could attempt

Idk wish I could sell both consoles they both serve no purpose going forward.

Doesnt it usually take a while for the exclusives to pile up to give people a reason to play it/ buy it??? That is a solid reason why i held off on buying a ps5 unlike people here.... but they call me broke it's ok... i be that.

Didn't the PS4 not get the ball rolling with exclusives until 2017? Granted that was 4 years after its launch, and we are nearing 5 with the PS5.

I really wonder when devs will stop supporting the PS4. It's a 12-year-old console at this point and the power difference between it and the PS5 is huge.

Typically the last 4ish years of any consoles life, but the PS3 era really ushered in that change after it caught up and lapped the 360.

PS4 era followed suit with horizon, spiderman, GoT, last of us 2 and Ragnarok, plus they had the 3rd party exclusives locked in and out of Xbox and switch.

Ps5 is so weird because its been out for 5 years yet still feels like a new console. I blame that mostly on the pandemic and the fact that you couldn't get one for years

For those of us that got one the first year, it feels like it been out forever and ain't been anything great to play in a very long time.

The PS5 is a filler console.

It’s the Bount arc, it’s Garlic jr saga, it’s more than half of Naruto.

And you know what, some people like filler arcs and that’s okay.

The PS4 would've looked about the same if the conversation was being held around March 2018. In early 2018 the PS4 didn't have Spider-Man, God of War, Detroit Become Human, TLOU PT 2, FFVII Remake, Ghosts of Tsushima, Red Dead Redemption 2, Kingdom Hearts 3 etc.

It's silly to compare a generation that still has presumably 2 1/2 years left to a full 7 year generation.
