Number 1, you're padding your PS5 list out with remasters, remakes and cross gen games. More than half that list is on PS4 and PC.
PlayStation Studios like Sucker Punch, Bend, BluePoint, Media Molecule, and Naughty Dog haven't released a single original game this generation and there's already discussion about a PS6.
Yeah, Sony ran up the score with Ragnarok, SM2, HFW, GT7, etc, and effectively won this generation, but all these games were last gen games that got delayed into this gen due to covid. You should probably credit all these games to Shawn Layden, than Jim Ryan.
When it come's to Jim Ryan, and stuff specifically this gen, then you got complete trash like Concord, Fair Game$, and Marathon being greenlit and / or funded. Factions 2 being cancelled along with half a dozen other games.
HD2 and Tokon aren't even made by PS Studios. The former was a fluke according to Sony themselves, and the latter is them taking a popular IP to a trusted developer, to make exactly what they been making the last three generations, just with a Marvel skin now.
Astro is probably the only real PS5 only game we got from Sony directly this generation.
There's no way you can spin how Sony hasn't been Ubisoft status this generation and would be in a worse spot without all the sequels to Shawn Layden's games.

now you just want to say shyt because suddenly every game is not an exclusive because it got released on a Sunday during the NBA season. Spiderman 1 don't count for PS4 because it was made by a third party developer last gen and Sony don't own it so let's start removing everything from the list to really whittle it down.

You mention the PS5's list is being padded, remove cross gen games or games that are "essentially last gen" games but then don't do that for the PS4 list.
TLOU remastered for PS4 wasn't padding? The Last Guardian wasn't a "PS3" game that just got made for PS4 because it was too taxing? Ratchet and Clank not a reboot of the original game? Mention the failings of a couple games this gen but then pretend every game listed was a mega hit on the PS4 side? Come on man.

Mentioning Bluepoint as if they're not a fukking remaster studio who has almost never released an "original" game. Since when we were grading Bluepoint for original IPs? Was Insomniac not a third party developer when Spider-Man 1 released?? You do know they were acquired in late 2019, a full year after SM1 released?
So how does this not apply to Spider-Man(PS4) but applies to Marvel Tokon?
- Arc Sys is currently a third party developer
- Insomniac at the time was a third party developer
- Marvel owns the Spider-man IP
- Marvel owns the IP for the characters in Tokon
