$1100 is amazing damn near a robbery for a 1 bed apt.

My spot is just under 2 racks for a 1 bd condo near Boston

It's renovated and next to the beach tho with public transit into the city close by.

Honestly leveling up in your city to settle down in a cheaper state is the move for young black professionals at this point
I am guessing you live in Revere by Wonderland station?

Corporations will start buying the properties for workers. You lose or leave your job, you lose the crib.

Companies did this before. They will do it again.
Will be riots eventually if we go down this road

I know ppl think ppl will accept it, and I used to agree

But housing is a major part of the American dream

And millennial ain't putting up with that

Yea but this is part of the reason why cost of living is rising in these cheaper places. Why can’t the people that level up just own property where they are at?

Also Boston real estate has much more value than a lot of cheaper states so from a wealth perspective not only are you buying in a market you can afford but also investing in more valuable real estate

There’s also a major food crisis coming, but brehs think constantly talking pawgs (while calling ppl Cacs) and having their loans paid off at the expense of others will help, when it will only speed up the chaos. The real answer is for us all to repent and turn away from our sins and seek out The Most High and trust in the sacrifice his son made that we may be forgiven of our sin and iniquity. Nothing else will help anyone (Serious).

Student loan cancellation will lead to food shortages, got it.

Word. I'm in university in a 2 br, looking for a 1 br to move into in July. Here or NoDa are my preference, but I know anything under $1300 probably isn't happening
