Knicks need to wait and see what happens with free agency, if the Heat strike out that would be a great landing spot for him with a chance for a decent return, and there's always the Cavs.

He barely averaged 18 shots per game last year and the coli saying he shoots 25 times a game. 
Put him on a team that he doesn't have to be a number 1 or even number 2 option and guaranteed he'll drop 22-25pts per game taking the same 18 shots. He's a shooter, he excels at the catch and shoot. Melo on the cavs with lebron and kyrie would easily put up 24 and 8 a game, same with being on the clips with blake and cp3.
And melo being fat has definitely runned its course, it's the padding melo wears during games that make him look bigger than he actually is.
I hope melo doesn't rot away with us, go to a contender where he can play with 1 or 2 all stars and watch him ball out of his mind.

Melo has never been very athletic, but can still EASILY give you 22-25 pts, 5-6 rebs a night, and is always capable of dropping 30+ on any given night. His peers in the NBA STILL consider him of the most prolific, dangerous scorers in the league.
