What has happened to Rockstar?

I miss the old rockstar. The one that dropped a table tennis game just because they could.

Bully,warriors,manhunt etc. They were on fire at one point.

You can't sit there and tell me you wouldn't like to see them to release more games and do more than just gta.

People are just caping and making excuses for them for some odd reason.

In the same time since they announced gta v naughty dog released Uncharted 3,4 and the last of us. Probably hard at work on their next game and they only 1/3 of the staff.

No other studio would get a pass like this.

This is a fair point. The rate they're dropping games has slowed down but I feel like the quality is top notch and some of the best. Plus I think GTA 5 was released right before the ps4 and X1 were announced so I expect something soon from them.

I personally like Ubisoft and activision but ppl complain that they drop a lot of games that suck or are stale. Hard to have it both ways.

I'm one of the few that doesn't care to play online, so I never bothered with GTA Online.

Really disappointed they never offered any side stories DLC like they've done in the past with GTA games.

Naw i agree with them not releasing games. It's crazy we got 3 gtas in 4 years on ps2 and now they on this slow shyt.

With that being said i still think gta v was dope as fukk. All the criticisms you guys have fit gta 4 more than 5 to me.

They don't need to, the amount of money they're making from Online means they'll probably chill with coming up with new games.

Unfortunately at some point down the line R* became a money hungry corporate business more than a creative studio that cared about making groundbreaking and innovative games. Just how it goes.

IMO GTA V was very underwhelming for a number of reasons. Online is their main thing from now on so don't expect anymore classic GTA titles.

Having said that though I do think the next GTA is in production and would guess they'll make an announcement about it within the next year or so.

They can coast this entire gen off of GTA Online alone.

But I still think another Red Dead and GTA game are in development with Red Dead being the worst kept secret ATM.

The world wasn't even that interesting.

Game was just more of the same but not even as good.

Other studios seem to have no problem creating big open world games in less time.

This is what kills me about GTA5.

For as detailed as it looks, it's just 1 medium sized city, the country/desert, and a giant mountain.

What happened to having 3 cities with all of that in between?

What's the point of having stats if I don't have side activities to raise them?

Why do I have all this money and hardly anything to spend it on?

Why are cheats terrible now?

Why is the invincible cheat 5 fukking minutes? I beat the game already
