I could PM you their wedding picture if you really wanted to see as proof lol. Because apparently to Prima Donna there's no such thing as a lightskin or brownskin African-American, she's literally implying AAs are only dark. You peep that?



Anyone I'm 100% black and proud, and unlike @Prima Donna, who is multiracial (bay area hispanic, trini iirc, mixed w/ white) trying to cape for that mixed thot Kehlani for some suspect reason.

Here we go again with this colorism shyt ain't real. Muthafukkas know they done made a few skin color jokes at dark skinned folks but gonna act stupid. Just because you say something ain't that serious dont mean it ain't serious to other folks. Some darkskinned folks could brush the shyt off and some can't. what I find funny is muthafukkas would be crying all day about how nerds/ social awkward treatment in the community but soon to tell a dark skinned person kick rocks your problems/feelings dont matter or exist.

I feel you, and this was a conversation I had with my one of my exes who was dark and gorgeous.
And as we went back and forth, I came to the conclusion that this was something she experienced in her family (all her family are light besides from her), and in highschool (juvenile boys love making color jokes)

But as an adult, who got attention thrown her way all the time, it was no longer a big thing for her.
I'm not saying that it still doesn't affect her, but, as a black man i can say that most of that lightskin/darkskin talk goes right out the window when you an attractive woman.

I cant deny what she dealt with, but i've lived with it too.

Shoot when I was younger I played outside maybe 7 hours a day and was muuch darker than I am now.
Black girls around me would have no shame telling us that they only liked lightskin guys.
In fact, I heard this more from black girls than the opposite (at the time, it shifted a bit with age).
Black girls in my classes would say stuff like "how come we dont have any lightskin boys?" Or "why are all Africans so dark?"

But you'll never hear me complain about that stuff today, because it doesn't affect my ability to get women.
Are there women out there who will pass on me due to my skin tone? Of course, that is always a factor for everyone.

The difference between an ugly/average Lightskin woman and ugly/average Darkskin woman is that the lightskin woman will still have a large group of brown and dark men lusting after her "pretty hair" and lightskin. The pretty dark skin girls who do better with men are usually stunning and probably have weave and thin noses/lips. Light skin and certain features give you bonus points in the looks department for a lot of Black men while dark skin is ridiculed.

For example, Lupita is way more attractive than Kehlani but which one do you think most Black dudes want?
