Eh. I'm not debating that there are darker people who are attractive. But that's not an example to use because that's not what people mean when they talk about "dark skin". It's disingenuous to discuss her and someone who looks like, say, Bernice as being complexion buddies.

They complain less because their high level of attractiveness cushions the effects of colorism only slightly yet that doesn't mean that they aren't getting hit with colorism.

The difference between an ugly/average Lightskin woman and ugly/average Darkskin woman is that the lightskin woman will still have a large group of brown and dark men lusting after her "pretty hair" and lightskin. The pretty dark skin girls who do better with men are usually stunning and probably have weave and thin noses/lips. Light skin and certain features give you bonus points in the looks department for a lot of Black men while dark skin is ridiculed.

For example, Lupita is way more attractive than Kehlani but which one do you think most Black dudes want?

I actually lost passion in this subject(although still important ). I feel that it should be expected that black men will go for light skin.Black women are not/will not be liberated by Black men ever.& I personally see myself with a white boy with swag long term anyway.

Every brotha I know (Including myself) date and have been in relationships with dark skinned women. I don't know these dark skinned women who can't find a man. If you not getting chose in a particular city -- you might have to move somewhere else. Nobody stays in a city where they can't get a job, people relocate all the time for career opportunities. Get in where you fit in. Complaining won't make someone want to be with you, that's for sure.

Been saying this. Its just so easy for the. To scapegoat everything as "it's because I'm darkskin"

But I stopped taking black women who complain about this seriously because they never point the finger get at each other. Black women themselves hype of euro centric features. Weaves, perms, blonde hair dye, colored contacts.

I mean look at who they idoloze:

Never wears her nature hair. Rocks blonde 90% of the time. You literally HAVE to pay this chic to rock a hairstyle that matches her ethnicity

These are 1 and 2 most idolized black women by black women in this country. So when they complain about "y'all only like lightskins(which is false) just tell em so do they.
