These are 1 and 2 most idolized black women by black women in this country. So when they complain about "y'all only like lightskins(which is false) just tell em so do they.

Honestly, I never thought about colorism until my last relationship. He was from Cali and his whole crew had white or biracial women as mates. All of them.

I noticed I was always the only "black" girl (a person with two Black parents) out of 6-7 couples when we would all hang out. It was weird and uncomfortable to me cause they were all dark skin and we would be out in ATLANTA. I'm from Michigan - and even in my Atlanta circle -- i'm used to seeing and being around BM/BW couples.

But, skincolor/tone classification is subjective - cause one person will say someone is light or dark and someone else will say they are not.

I would say I'm light brown or just brown -- but I heard my ex describe me as dark brown and dark. I realized then, a lot of people from Cali have a whole nother view and scale of skincolor/tone classification.

I think they tie in ethnicity and hair type - so you can be light skin/light brown - but if you wear your hair natural and it's not "mixed" looking curly hair or you get your natural hair straightened - they are not always a fan of that. To me a lot of people just want someone who is nothing like them -- and for bragging rights or daps from friends or it's just what they are used too -- but it seems like they want a mate who is not majority Black. IDK.

I have dated all complexions of Black men -- but I tend to attract and like those who share my complexion or darker.

I volunteer at a hospital during the summer, this is what I do when I'm at a desk. I post on here because the comments are entertaining not for attention. I'm on here probably less than you are and I've made exactly one " troll" thread in like 10 months and I'm averaging at 2 post per day. I don't make attention seeking post or threads, if you or someone else choose to be obsessed with a stranger because of my gender or one stupid thread, that's on you, you're the loser.
I don't even like White guys, weirdo so you can stop pestering me. I've said as much before I made that thread. The only reason why I made it because a thread called "Why are White women so much more attractive" was trending. It was the exact copy of that thread and nothing more and the responses in my thread versus the ones in the other just proved my point about the hypocrisy on here. You're obsessed with White women and light skin women but if a Black women shares this sentiment about men, you act like she's a pariah.
