HK has its own passport, govt and laws and they do just fine if not better than china, and china isn't crushing HK ever. They also have a miltiary pact with western govt that protect them, much like Taiwan. but I take it if there was an invite, they wouldnt even have to go through all that, it would be more of a HK, Macau, Taiwan sorta thing. 2 govt, 1 country. China is quite used to it, the U.S on the other hand REFUSES it all costs, Hawaii has tried, Texas and a few others. Succession is just not an option and segregation is also no longer an option.

I'm not sure what dissents have to do with immigrants. You're not speaking against their govt who gives a shyt what they do, 99% of you can't even name their vice president. you're creating your own community with its own people and laws. HK is one of, if not the most outspoken toward China in the world. They're not dissents because they're not mainland chinese. their internet isn't censored or blocked either, and they have a solid democracy and vote in their own officials.

So what problems are you currently fixing

One thing I'm currently looking into is teaching people how to budget their money properly. I read that black people have trillions in spending power, but we are at the bottom when it comes to wealth. If people knew how to budget, they could more easily stop living beyond their means and save money to build wealth. I want to start off by teaching people I know that never have money to do stuff even when they know about it months in advance. If they had just saved money over the months before an event, they wouldn't have to cancel two weeks before it happens because they don't have the money. If that is successful, then I would like to move to teaching people in the community. Once people are budgeting and saving, then we could move on to learning about investing and having their money work for them. I also read that low amounts of black people invest their money. I believe that a lot of problems that people have can be solved if they get their money situation together, and the black community especially could benefit from this.
