In the Silver Lining
They were prisoners some of them and were paying dues back to the state by working for free in state run companies operating abroad. The citizenship one isnt quite that simple. Also many nations are paranoid of them because of their huge numbers. There are usually conflicts between the governments and the locals who dont want them.
Living in china is just asking for trouble.

If this is the case (I don't know how it is for every project), then the economic chess game China is playing is :mindblown: ....not only can they provide essentially free labor, but then they have their people established all over the world, and then the country recieving the benefits of said labor has obviously made a deal to hand over or allow Chinese companies to do more significant work........i.e............typically extraction of some resource...... :wow:

OP, did you know that most of Canada is uninhabited? It'd be more realistic for blacks to start building communities in the vacant part of Canada than to do in under the oppressive Chinese government

Obviously, neither are going to happen because of passport reasons and what not lol
