Banks is at his best when just below the radar. He hits home runs when no one is looking.. but he doesn't care for the attention I feel. He has freestyles scattered here and there that are living proof of how good he is and he knows it lol.

It wouldnt be the same if he had a upbeat personality.. the whole laid back thing is his style, its why people like him. Now if he had more of a desire to push himself thats a different discussion, but his personality is in the same vein as someone like Jay Z's and hes one of the greatest ever.

Watch a Jay Z interview and tell me whats charismatic about him.
It's not like Banks is just mute and never has anything of value to say, he doesnt go out of his way to talk much but when he gets asked shyt he usually has interesting shyt to say.

I don't find his music boring in the slightest. In fact I find his music one of the more engaging works out of a lot of his contemporaries; it takes a little more attention to appreciate, but it runs a lot deeper than what most people would like to think.
Thing is the fans don't give a fukk either...

No star quality with a platinum album and multiple hits. Banks was entertaining in his breakfast club interview.. just cuz he's not jumping off the wall like DMX doesnt mean he can't be a star while having a laid back personality. All he needs is a work ethic, him being a chill person has nothing to do with why he hasn't become as big as he could be.You name dropped Juelz who is charismatic and has "star quality" but that doesn't mean shyt with his work ethic considering he hasn't dropped an album since I was in 6th grade and now im a junior in college. Thats what it comes down to.. work ethic, not personality.
