This couldn't actually happen because of the square cube law.
An insect that big wouldn't be able to move, much less support itself. Basically, when an
object increases in size, it’s surface area is the cube of the size increase, while its volume is the cube of the multiplier. So when something increases in size, it's volume/mass increase way more than it's surface area.
So for example, if you were twice as tall with the same proportions, you'd gain four times the muscle mass...but you'd weight 1000+ lbs and thus wouldn't be able to support yourself. Likewise, an insect with same same proportions wouldn't come close to being able to move or support itself at that size.
