I'd probably still take rose over curry (but not Parker) but I can't put him above the other three til he proves he can even come close to how he was.

There was no chance this team(coming off b2b #1 seeds), with Thibs as the coach, was going to tank. It just wasnt going to happen.

Beyond that, would missing the playoffs, and moving up 7 or 8 draft spots (in a really, really bad draft) really be worth missing the chance that Rose would return as projected, and find his groove before the playoffs? Not to mention, financially, it would be stupid as hell.



The only way tanking makes sense is if they completely tore this team apart in the off season and moved whatever assets they have.
