I LIVE IN A CARDBOARD BOX!
The uncertainty of what, if anything, awaits us in the afterlife is truly one of the scariest questions we face. We grapple with the unknown, wondering if we've worshiped the right deity, followed the right path in life, or just lived our lives to the fullest because this may be it. The fear of the unknown can be overwhelming, leaving us to contemplate the meaning of life and our place in the universe. I want to give props to all my friends, religious and not, who have the frame of mind to confidently say whether we're going somewhere or not. I wish I had their certainty.

Nobody has come back to tell us if there is. I've seen some stuff to make me believe the spirit world is real. But whose to say that's proof?

You could go by what's in your Holy Text of the week but those guys were routinely stoned on opiods so it could have just been some hallucinated shyt they felt like writing down.

Except Proverbs. Proverbs is gospel. :blessed:

I wish death wasn’t so damn final. Like I’d be cool with them coming back once every 4yrears to shoot the breeze. Then they would go into a room and just disappear until the next 4 years.

But the fact that I can’t ever see my loved ones again really fukks me up sometimes.

Maybe I wasn’t dead long enough but when I did it was just pitch black and nothing else

It was a joke!
What if when you die, you simply cease to exist…forever?

What if our consciousness is simply a function of our biology/chemistry? And when you die…that’s it.

Is that a scary thought? Humbling? Would it make you appreciate life more? Or would it make you question why you are even here?
You, me and everyone else in here are going to be forgotten after a century tops

There's nothing, I find immense comfort in that
