Can't agree with this so far

At the most people everywhere respected him and his fashion sense.. Denying it is trying too hard.. He wasn't black but he was one of the few cool white dudes

Lmao Who respected his fashion sense? The guys in NY with Avirex, Coogies & Colombia Suits? Or was is the dudes in Cali in dikkie suits?

Everybody knew Nirvana and the fact that he blew his brains out.

He was one of the few cool white dudes...lmaooooo What's next?

None, zero, absolutamente nada. The young pill-popping "hip hop" audiences identify with a drug-addled, bipolar white rock star to break away from the street origins of the art form, but I'm an old head, I came up in the early 90s. Nobody listened to that fukking garbage and it didn't taint the music from one of hip hop's golden ages

Like a poster said earlier, he gets mentioned in rap songs as referencing suicide...

none of those trends in fashion came back as a direct response to studying kurt cobain.

Wiz got the glasses look from him and then everyone else started wearing them again. Ripped jeans is arguable but he started it originally. I see people my age wearing Nirvana shirts regularly too regardless of whether they actually listen to them.

Ripped jeans started in the 80s before Nirvana lol...

Rock groups like Guns and Roses and Van Halen were doing ripped jeans and leather waaaaay before Kurt Cobain existed...

Distressed jeans and biker jackets came way before Kurt Cobain....

I said nothing about biker jackets. And if someone made ripped jeans popular before Kurt feel free to let me know who.

Biker jackets is the other popular thing right now coming from that "rock star" trend...same thing you seeing now you saw back in the 80s and it wasnt Kurt Cobain that started it....Cobain started the dirty looking grungy look not the rock star trend thats been popping off the last few years....
