Can't agree with this so far
At the most people everywhere respected him and his fashion sense.. Denying it is trying too hard.. He wasn't black but he was one of the few cool white dudes
That sweet bitternessLmao Who respected his fashion sense? The guys in NY with Avirex, Coogies & Colombia Suits? Or was is the dudes in Cali in dikkie suits?
Everybody knew Nirvana and the fact that he blew his brains out.
He was one of the few cool white dudes...lmaooooo What's next?

being a punchline is influence?Like a poster said earlier, he gets mentioned in rap songs as referencing suicide...
none of those trends in fashion came back as a direct response to studying kurt cobain.
Fashion wise he still has influence. Ripped jeans and "clout glasses" are still in style right now. Otherwise he's just someone rappers feel cool to reference.
Wiz got the glasses look from him and then everyone else started wearing them again. Ripped jeans is arguable but he started it originally. I see people my age wearing Nirvana shirts regularly too regardless of whether they actually listen to them.
Distressed jeans and biker jackets came way before Kurt Cobain....
I said nothing about biker jackets. And if someone made ripped jeans popular before Kurt feel free to let me know who.
