Comprehensive car insurance with NRMA, the Australian National Roads and Motorists' Association.
I don't have anything else. I don't own property so no home insurance, and we don't really need medical insurance as such in this country because the state pays for most basic types of health care. Last year I wound up in the ER for an overnight stay for example and I didn't have to pay a cent. Just had to pay $30 for a pack of oxycodone at the pharmacy to fill out the prescription the doctor gave me after I got discharged from the hospital
It is of course better to be able to access private health facilities as well as state ones, but it isn't absolutely essential to have health insurance like it is in the US

That one minor accident, doesn't mean anything . There's a lot more that goes into cost for insurance.
For example, your lil car will total after 7k of damages.
Meanwhile, noggas are catching 25k on medical bills for injury.

In the future, just for yourself, just imagine if someone died and they denied the claim. The other party is going to sue you and bankrupt you.
Don't ride without insurance. Learn to read contracts, I can assume you didn't own the car?
Just keep in mind, without insurance, you are personally liable.

The customer service. Some say it has declined since the past, but they have been nothing but awesome for us. House and cars covered and I have this bullshyt coverage for small electronics. However, I got two brand new Apple watches off that $10 policy, one of which I was damn near forced to take a payout when I told them the damage wasn’t an accident. They were like “ are you sure it wasn’t an accident where you struck a solid object and broke it? Are you sure?” I just said fuk it, yea it was an accident. Boom, $700 in my account the next couple days. I haven’t had a car accident or ticket on record in 10+ years so not sure about how they handle car claims or tix, but I’ve read they are fantastic. The bullshyt is my house insurance went up by $300 this year after having the same rate for the past 3 years. Apparently a statewide increase due to that cold weather we had in Texas and the damage it caused.
I had State Farm before moving to USAA. They were very good and I liked the fact that you had an actual agent nearby to talk to. After awhile, I had a feeling I was paying more for his overhead and luxuries like his boat and shyt. I didn’t leave because of that but it always stuck in my mind. They treated a brother great though…Not too many people with State Farm
