I didn't understand the move either. plus barnes played well in the playoffs last summer. but u know how these GM's get when they get a little cap space. that money starts to burn a hole in their pockets.

The signing never made sense to me either. Barnes was their 2nd best player in the playoffs and their thinking was lets go sign an aging, defensive minded SF for $12 mil a year and stunt the growth of our young top 10 pick and move Barnes to the bench.

NEVER understood that. Money would've been better on a solid backup PG(keeping Jack) and a good backup big or two.
