Yea I heard a lot of mexicans were moving throughout the country, its cause socal is too saturated, too much competition with other mexicans, so they're going to other places now.
what people fail to realize is...mexicans were in cali first. blacks in the 60s were moving to cali. WE were the fastest growing population in cali back then, they were sitting back like
"where these immigrants (blacks) come from?" we were basically coming for factory work from the south. we co-existed mostly because the panthers were giving the cacs that work (common enemy since cacs were smashing on the mexicans, ill link in a second), so the mexicans were lovin it. but then when the panthers got locked up and the crips were formed, the structures disappeared, and then we started bullying a lot of mexicans and taking up blocks. by the 90s the mexican mafia decided it was time to spread out and make some money. even if it meant warring with the blacks. It has nothing to do with race and more to do with drugs and money. Its like the mexicans show up to NY, take up blocks, and the ricans and blacks deciding to retake their old hoods. I think people forget that LA was never black, it was always mexico, we just so happened to smash real hard during the early days, but the mexicans have always been doing their thing. When people say "mexicans are smashing on yall" you're thinking of it like your state, where the mexicans are the immigrants, but that's not how cali is. the blacks are the immigrants in cali. we never 'controlled' cali, the mexicans just didn't bother us and let us do our thing.
