Someone said the south is soft. Here's how I explained it to someone, the difference between Dallas and New Orleans. In Dallas if you step on someones toes and you show remorse (oh my bad dog) for it you might get a pass. In New Orleans you could bow down and lick the person's shoes but you still gon get smoked! The gangsta is there in both situation but Dallas is more old skool with the gangsterism. New Orleans heads just savage and don't give a fukk. Mind you I aint been there in years but that's how it used to be.

Dallas used to be like a mini Cali with the gangs. You had b's and c's, mexican gangs and all types of off shoot gangs. You had to be very careful where you lived, who you was with and how you maneuvered. I kid you not you had upper middle class kids banging and they wasn't playing with it either. Doing drive-bys and the whole nine. The difference between Dallas though is you only two states away from Cali so the people and the culture spread. It was much more authentic than it is in other places because they got first hand lessons of what it's all about.

Hoovers was mentioned. In Dallas they had a set called Six Duece Hoover. I went to school and hung out with someone in that set. Don't know if there was a real connection to Five Deuce in Cali or not but from what I saw and heard them heads was no joke; robberies, selling crack, shoot-outs with the cops you name it they was getting down.

Newark NJ is being gentrified but you still got some live areas. That gang bs is there and even the Hoover's. Lots of stupid senseless shootings over nothing taking place by young boys. The gang stuff is a joke in the sense that's it's a b*stardized form that doesn't follow tradition. Alot of it was just color fades made popular by Game, Dipset and Wayne that people copied; starting rocking red and claiming blood. From what I've seen the hand signs and profiling isn't really known by the majority of them. Just the colors aspect.

Southwest IL is more influenced by st louis than Chicago, so yes there are crips n bloods there. Ive been there myself.

Its crips in Bmore. My ex gf from Bmore and she told me her brothers a crip andthat they deep out there. but den again she told me that her uncles used to beat up 2pac so :manny:

A nikka like me done been all over the country, but ever hood I been to, I never met nikkas overall as "bout dat life" ass nikkas I lived around in Cali. I mean I live down south now and the average "street nikka" out here got gold teeth, dreaded up, hyper masculine and shyt but dont really even be puttin in work like that. Cali nikkas dont even try to look intimidatin, plus they got a "white accent" to the rest of the country, but the average "skinny pants, dyed hair" teenager in LA is more likely to have murdered or some shot someone then a baggy T, dreadlock wearin, gold teeth havin nikka down south. Extortin rappers, jaccin the mexican cartel, kidnapping football stars, shootin at helicopters,

and this is all just LA, this dont even include what them bay nikkas be on :damn:
U aint even from Cali no more so whyy care?
