A decent/secure career, safe neighborhoods to live in, respect from the rest of society, and for people to stop analyzing our every move like we are some type of zoo animal.
"In response to the demands of capitalism and the American dream, my father, brother, and husband were among the Black men who were confronted to believe that their values, self-worth, and most of the problems in their life hinge on money: the lack of it; the devaluation of it; how people will use you to get it; what others will do to you to get the little bit you have. Some Black men I have known believed that by obtaining the right job, or a car, which they often could not afford, they would immediately be elected to a position of "all rightness." How can it be all right to ground your sense of self in something that can so easily be repossessed? A physical sense of security is the easiest to lose because it is determined by external factors."

Money is not a biological thing we, or men are wired to want. However, money represents security, opportunity, in essence, power or ability. I just hope most men gain a power that promotes respect rather than fear.

Great answer.
If ur talkin biological... then ur talkin what any man wants regardless of race... but if u were talkin the "wants" strictly pertaining to black american men.
1st, seperate the typical nikkaz from real black men. (i feel negs coming)
The black man, imo, wants to be treated as an equal to others. Have the same opportunities as others, be judged as others would be judged. For the most part be left alone to persue what any other man is free to persue in this country, happiness (which is different for each man).
For me personally the happiness i would persue, is finacial flexibility. The freedom to be where i want to be, and do what I want to do at any given time.
Making sure my family are on the path to persue what makes them happy.
Having the freedom to be with whichever woman i want to be with at the time.
:jbhmm: i think that's it

I don't know about other black men but I just want love & loyalty and success. Getting my dikk sucked and having money to show off doesn't mean anything to me without a loving and loyal woman with me and personal satisfaction with what I've accomplished in life.

I don't like speaking for most black men or men period since most dudes aren't on the same path I'm on

want the samething every man wants. like @CorporateTrapper

power, control, admiration, to be loved and to be a leader. unfortunately the system is designed to stop us from having that so the ones that push through are most likely going to have a cold heart once they "make it"
